At Glamping aan de Maas in Kessel, you’ll soon be able to spend the night in a truly unique way: in an authentic American school bus. This iconic yellow bus, which you normally only see in American movies, is currently being converted with great care and craftsmanship into a fully-fledged glamping accommodation. It is the latest project from owners Peter and Annemarie, who, following the success of their Airstream and wellness bungalow, are further expanding their passion for unique overnight stays.

The conversion of the bus is a project that prioritizes comfort and ambiance. Where rows of benches once accommodated schoolchildren, a smart layout is now being created that can seat up to six people. This makes the school bus an ideal spot for families or groups of friends looking for a nostalgic experience without sacrificing modern convenience. The interior is being decorated in a warm and inviting style, so the bus feels like a luxury “tiny house” on wheels.
