Baron Frits
At the most unique spot in Kessel (North Limburg) on the edge of the Maas you will find Baron Frits. A small-scale and atmospheric hotel with a trendy restaurant and a beautiful panoramic terrace, housed in the former outbuildings of Kasteel de Keverberg. A magical place where enjoyment is central and time seems to stand still.
Restaurant Vaers
The restaurant Vaers can be found on the Maas at the ferry. It is located in a building from 1850, where you can dine in an atmospheric way. The restaurant has a winter garden and a large terrace. No less than 12 well-known cycling routes pass the restaurant. No surprise that there are enough possibilities to charge your e-bike. A real restaurant for gourmets and bon vivants with an excellent price-quality ratio.
De Taverne
On the Markt you will find the cozy brasserie De Taverne. Affordable dishes, including plenty of choice for children.
Centraal Baarlo
Located next to the church in the heart of Baarlo, the building is housed in a historic building that has been used for gastronomic purposes since 1719. The terrace was voted the best terrace in the Netherlands in 2024. It's the perfect place to relax after a bike ride, for example, with one of the over 100 specialty beers on offer.
