A few weeks ago, our American school bus temporarily left its familiar spot at the workshop. The occasion was very special: the wedding of our son and daughter-in-law.
Peter had worked hard in the weeks before to have at least the six sleeping places ready. This way, a number of friends could spend the night in the bus and help with the final preparations for the wedding, which took place in our garden.
Moreover, the party tent was set up in place of the school bus. The bus therefore moved to a nice spot at the back of the grounds. It turned out to be an atmospheric setting for the wedding ceremony right away.
Curious how such an enormous American school bus is moved? Come along and watch the video below! Guests in the Airstream caravan made the film. If you look carefully, you'll also see the children riding along in the bus.
Meanwhile, the school bus is back in its familiar spot and Peter is busy tinkering again. The goal is to be able to rent the bus at the start of the new outdoor season.
Does it sound fun to spend a couple of nights in this iconic school bus yourself? Then keep an eye on our website and social media. We can't wait to share it with you!
Warm regards,
Peter & Annemarie
